Thunder Bunnies
Matthias is really impressive so far. Him and Booth line combo has made Booth more visible on the ice too! Jensen has also looked very good, liking him a lot and hope he sticks around for the rest of the year.
oldnews
Did anyone see the Florida game earlier this season? Matthias played like a guy who wanted to be noticed (not just the goal he scored). Honestly, I would have taken him as the primary in a Luongo deal (didn't expect more than a quality tweener center and b asset) - the fact that he came along with Markstrom - no brainer. RB33
We just gotta keep up this intensity thru the whole game Yep, and Nabby is playing like he won't be in the net by the third period. Very shakey
Merci
Who besides Schroeder gets bumped when Kassian and Richardson get back, Archibald?

I still don't know that he wasn't the primary. It just so happens that we got a goalie back but he was always going to be the one who contributed more, at least in the short term. oldnews
This says it all: I remember thinking he was going to make himself one of those Panther 'untouchables' despite the wealth of young bluechip Cs they have.

I'm not downplaying Matthias - I'm just saying that Markstrom is generally considered a "bluechip" - while Matthias' value, rightly or wrongly, is routinely under-rated. Autistic1
Thank goodness nabby bicycle kicked it into his own net. I don't think we could have scored any other way. Matthias looked real good, he's skating harder and better than everyone else so far. Jensen was probably told he had to get 5 shots this game or something. -Vintage Canuck-
@patersonjeff: Things that don't make sense: #Canucks Y. Weber has more points in last 2 periods than Henrik & Daniel Sedin combined since January 10th Yikes!
oldnews
I have to scratch my head at a few things in this lineup. First - if they keep pairing Edler and Bieksa together, will it somehow eventuallly work? Second, the bottom six makes little sense to me. Change it up. Booth Matthias Schroeder Archie Dalpe Sestito. oldnews
I thought that Weber looked better than Diaz this year. Combine that with Weber being a bargain basement RFA - thrilled they kept him and gave him a shot. It's sure paying off.
