I think they should cruise waivers for someone and send them both (and likely Archie) down personally But yeah, I'd pick Virt of the two, too. He's been more consistent in all three zones, is more versatile and has a less redundant skill set. Not that I don't hope Boeser will eventually be a better shooter than a 33 year old Vanek etc but we've got a few guys who can fire the puck on the PP between Vanek, Gagner, Granlund, Eriksson etc (Virt included if he stays). As well as @canuck2xtreme for processing with all he has on his plate. While Petrovic added a lot to our roster by being affordable, young, and on a competitive enough team, he will be due for quite the raise next year, and I am not in the position in the next few years to spend to the cap. Also, with Oscar Fantenberg earning a spot with the Kings IRL, I wanted to open up a roster spot for him. As for Rasmus Andersson, I'm incredibly pleased to bring in a player I've been following for 3 years now. He has been developing very well and is not too far off from a spot on Calgary's blueline.
