EXTENSION: The Colorado Avalanche have re-signed forward Markus Granlund to a two year extension.

col.png Markus Granlund: 2 years, $ 1.65 million dollar contract ( $ 825,000.00 per season ).

Glad to have Markus back and look forward to him earning a bigger contract  over those two years. We see a lot of promise in both his 2 way play last year and the offense he managed to put up the year prior and believe he has it in him to mesh those together and be a solid contributor for us moving forward.

EXTENSION: The Colorado Avalanche have re-signed forward Luke Witkowski to a one year extension.

col.png Luke Witkowski: 1 year, $ 700 thousand dollar contract ( $ 700,000.00 per season ).

Also happy to brink Luke back, he was a solid, veteran presence on our roster and gives us the option of having him fill in at D or F and brings a lot of grit and work ethic to our young team.

Thanks as always to Mike (and the rest of the exec) for all his (their) hard work in getting these done :)

When either of you get a chance can you update my RFA list. Some of those guys have been traded.

thank you.

Yeah my 'pendings' are a bit of a dog's breakfast as well. Figured they'd get to it in the 'slow season'. Happy to have it all sorted when y'all get to it though!

On a side note, happy to see Hammond with a HUGE game last night IRL COL. Shame we couldn't find him a trade this spring to an NHL team headed to the playoffs this year to take advantage of that.
