Have things been perfect, no.
However, I do think there are several factors that come into play, keeping the team competitive while the Sedins were around and appeasing ownership are two that come to mind.
That being said, Elias, Brock, Quinn, Thatcher and Bo are a great young core to build around. Also, while I am never happy to give up a first round draft pick, I am excited to watch the team play this year. I think they are going to be even more competitive, more experienced, and I think our young guys will be better for it.
So I guess what I am saying is that there is no point in changing course now, let's see how the next couple of seasons go. Keep Benning please.
