^ I wouldn't say that Boeser and Juolevi pale in comparison to Ehlers and Conner but do think that Laine is on another level.

This team has some blue-chippers (Brock, Olli, Thatcher) and it's much improved for sure, but some of them (like prospects on every other team) are lottery tickets.  

After most drafts or signings, footage of their play induces unfair comparisons to NHL stars (e.g. remember Dane Fox?  Some people were penciling him into our top-6 after his 64 goal overage OHL season alongside one Connor McDavid) when there's often still lots of development to be done, and these highlight years may have come about as a result of being an older junior player who has an advantage against younger kids.  They won't have that benefit in the A, let alone the NHL.  

Nothing against Stukel, I do like seeing his blazing speed, as it is with everyone else I think it's best to be cautiously expectant.

I really like the Leafs, Hurricanes, Jets, Blue Jackets and Coyotes prospect pools. Hurricanes got the best d core of the future. Bean, Hannifin, Faulk , Fleury, Mckweon just to name some guys.
