I think Blueger is more likely to be on PK1 than Suter. And for unit 2 swap Suter with Blueger and winger depends on who makes team but ya pretty much agree completely.

How’s that? they said they’d make some bold moves. Horvat and Hronek BOLD moves they said they would move money out - they have, but they’ve replaced money out with money in they said they would build and continue to build to the identity and team they see can compete for a Stanley cup. They are continually building the tram to the vision they see best they said they’d overhaul the defence, they have. they said they’d stock the cupboards they have they said they’d focus on abby and player development they have they said they want the team to have more structure and brought in a coaching staff that’s vision aligns with theirs and has a very structured system they said they’d raise the bar in expectations, they have They do what they say they are doing. I think they’ve been rather imrpoesve in what they’ve accomplished in a short time starting in a very difficult spot * also they have retained the Canucks first round pick in each draft they’ve had and they stressed how important that was after the Hronek trade too. So they’ve been very clear and consistent with that messaging IMO

Honestly good. If they can’t win a spot with this group they simply aren’t ready. think we have a trade still upcoming to move some money out

We have such a better balanced line up on paper now overall from top to bottom. Pretty excited with what our new management group has done and they still have lots of flexibility to pivot if somethings don’t gel and building the depth up to pressure the line up from the bottom really love it

He’s not a strong faceoff guy but he’s on upgrade on dries and I really like the signing. We really needed another C in the mix here going into camp and the season. if only he was RHC lol but overall pretty great common sense summer not frustrating at all snd we have a clear direction

I’ve not watched enough of him but everyone always praises his hockey IQ So with that combine top tier IQ and elite skill C sounds possible to me. will be fun to follow and he’s got lots of time to develop at it even if next year is a rough transition

I honestly really like Reinbacher but if Michkov hits multiple teams will regret passing on Him

apparently Michkov will be playing C next season.. if he develops as a star C teams could really kick themselves for not picking him. will be interesting to follow his development

They could very well. id agree that’s more likely and probably most ideal but if he has two monster off seasons and a crazy year it’s not out of the question he makes the team next year

Willander could be here in 1-2 years a very possible timeline for him

I do think: Benson-Miller-Mikehyev could have been great. but I understand and love the Willander pick and I was on the weary side of ranking benson at the top kids talented though and local so I wish him success

Wel to be honest asides from the Boudreau situation (which we don’t know the full true context of) I truly like the JR PA approach to team building and improving the organization I don’t see EP40 taking a discount at all but I think he will take a fair contract

Feel like he’s gonna push garland down the lineup this year could see tocchet liking his style of play better. Let’s hope his defensive details really did improve in Abby and the new system clicks for him we really need one of podz / hoglander to take a larger step this year if both improve though would be huge

Does golf help? i don’t wanna drag on him to much. but he’s needs to have a serious summer. He’s paid serious money to be an elite athlete. i don’t know how many more days off and playing golf he needs but we a week into July here and I hope he’s grinding hard and has a fool proof summer plan for his physical training (strength and conditioning and skating ) I want to see Him broadcasting that’s he’s training hard, in the gym, skating, putting his all into this summer to earn his salary. not that he’s playing golf or at the water or lounging maybe he’s actually grinding hard and not sharing anything related but damn he can’t come into camp in anything but tip top shape
