Demko honestly looked a lot calmer than Markstrom. Markstrom has been good, bad and average these playoffs. This was a pretty big statement by Demko.

Markstrom has to make a save or you aren't beating a team like Vegas. Too many soft goals. Last two games Vegas has gotten the better goaltending.

Unless Pettersson has some amazing season where he scores 100+ points he is going to be signed between 7-8.5M. The Cap is not going up and he hasn't shown he is worth 10M+ It makes no sense to sign him to 8x10m. You sign him for 7-8.5m until he has 1 RFA year left and then he can have his 10M+ 8 year deal. The only way he should get an 8 year deal is if he is taking 7-9M, then the later years are at a pretty good discount. People have to stop using what Dubas did as way to gauge young RFA contracts. Everyone was saying Boeser was coming in at 7M or higher and he signed for 5.87M. Brayden Point was supposed to be a 9M+ player and he came in at 6.75M for 3 years. Rantanen is little high, I think, but still under 10M at 9.2M and Colorado had a plethora of cap space. Draisatl is making 8.5M.. When you look at all these good young RFA's signing contracts they are signing for less than what was "reported" and this was before COVID.

My problem with the protest is trying to say this is the same thing happening again. George Floyd was murdered by police and did nothing to deserve what police did to him. Jacob Blake did everything wrong.

Cops are trained to empty their clips not to shoot one bullet and with adrenaline in a situation where a man was just tasered and kept moving shooting 7 rounds is not really that much.

I don't know the specifics I am just going off what I saw in the video and few reports from police and based what I read online... I don't see what people are protesting for.. Nobody stopped to fact check or watch the video..

They are making it appear as if it is and if you actually watch the video you can see it's not. If this was another George Floyd case then there would be cause to protest but this is just someone with a narrative peddling an agenda making something appear as something it isn't. Watch the video read the report from the police.. What people say happened isn't what actually went down.

I've heard people saying oh he was told to go. He broke up a fight. Everything was over and police just shot him.. I don't see that all in the video. There is screaming and shouting and what appears to be fighting amongst him and police and he just ignores police and tries to leave seconds after this skirmish...and they are immediately on him and he is not listening.

I've seen the video and this is nothing like George Floyd. Did he deserve to get shot? Idk. But he resisted arrest. He was tasered. He ignored police and tried to get back in his car.. What do you expect to happen? You get in a fight with police who are called to the scene because of you and then reach into your car? honestly Wtf do you think is going to happen? They are complaining that his kids were in the car.. then why are you resisting arrest? I see no comparison to the George Floyd murder.

This is a big game. If we can stay with Vegas tonight then this series is a toss up.

IMO Both teams have to decide to protest otherwise it should count as forfeiting.
