I'm the one being ignored. I'm over it now but I'm a little upset that she didn't just say "hey, i don't want to hang out anymore". I think it's kind of disrespectful. I'm very honest with people and if I didn't want to hang out with someone that wanted to hang out with me I would definitely find a way to tell them.

Am I the only one who sometimes feels like the Sedins will pull a Jagr and/or Messier and play into their 40's? I get the feeling that if any players do it... it'll be them. I can see them being our third liners in the next few years if that's the case.

So apparently the Expansion draft will allow you to protect 8 players plus a goalie 1st and 2nd year pros are exempt, but you are only allowed to loss 1 player per expansion team

I believe Horvat, Hutton, Virtanen and McCann are protected

1st and 2nd year players include players in the AHL too. Rodin and Grenier wouldn't be protected.
So I think anyone past the 2nd year of their elc is not protected.

So, the NHL and CHL have an agreement that as long as the players Junior teams season is in progress they cannot be assigned to the AHL.
Once the Junior teams season is over then they are eligible to play in the AHL.
Jake and Jared aren't underage. The AHL age limit is 18+, players in the CHL have to wait until they are 20 or have played 4 seasons of Major Junior hockey(CHL) to play in the AHL because that is when their junior eligibility is over. Typically anyone in the AHL under 20 are College or European players.
So Jake and Jared can play in the AHL playoffs but first there Junior teams season must be over, and in this case that means we would have to wait for their Junior team to be eliminated from the playoffs, then we can assign them to Utica.
