So Hutton had a couple bad plays, Horvat had a bad penalty too, Burrows took a penalty on a 1 on 3 that ended up and leafs scored on the 5 on 3 and the defense overall was crap, but let's blame Virtanen because of a since this was his first bad game and he made a single turnover that ended up a goal. We're not pretending like nothing happened. It WAS his fault, and he needs to know better. But what you're saying is that his giveaway WAS the reason we lost, that it's all his fault. My point is all rookies make mistakes. Veterans will make a bunch of mistakes too, we saw that today. But to say it's all his fault because he made a single mistake in a 4-2 loss is ridiculous. Horvat made some mistakes, but we all know he's going to be a stud. McCann hasn't made a glaring mistake yet but eventually he will. Hutton has been everything and more we've expected, but he makes mistakes too. Sedins are arguably the most iconic players in our franchise, but they have made a lot of mistakes. Are they bad? No. There will never be a perfect team, but limiting the mistakes are something a good team does. Virtanen will learn and our veterans will help.
