    It's a valid point, but 1) no one else bit on Chabot, or McAvoy for that matter, and 2) management team's been discussing if sign-and-trade penalties apply here, given the change in management. Rush was the GM negotiating with me, so we're taking that into consideration.

    As of today, the Canucks have better odds of winning the Cup than the Lightning, Oilers, and Leafs do as per moneypuck

      The real news here is that they're giving the Canucks a 72% chance of making the playoffs as well. That's the highest I've seen so far.

    @Ryan Strome The winter weather sucks, the job market sucks, tuition rates rising, minimum wage is the lowest in Canada, and we've got the highest rates of domestic assault in Canada. Let's be honest, it's a $#^+ province, and there's a lot we can improve. But it's our $#^+ province, and I'll loudly and proudly say that I call this place home.

    nah, right now we're writing stories, doing tv broadcast stories, learning technical stuff like Canadian Press style and how to use cameras, edit stories, and get it down to about a day or so. Then there's research techniques, interviewing techniques, and rights and responsibilities. That's just the first semester, so all of this is just intro-level stuff. I swear to god I hope I'm never paparazzi
