  1. Yep imo Willander, Simashev, Gulyayev, Reinbacher
  2. I think if we didn’t already have Pettersson, Lekkerimaki, and Hoglander, I would have been good with Benson. Fact of the matter is he’s too undersized to go along with a bunch of other guys we have in the system who are undersized, let alone ones we already have up in Van. To be fair, I don’t mind a Danielson selection, I just don’t think we should be selecting him with the 11th pick. I’d trade down if that’s the guy we’re targeting. Im honestly happy with any of Leonard, Reinbacher, Simashev, Willander, Danielson, or Barlow. Preferably in that order of whoever is available.
  3. Assuming Leonard and Reinbacher don’t fall, I think management is taking Willander. Two way defenseman with some snarl and physicality and the best skater in the draft of all defenseman. Seider vibes from Willander.
  4. Dinner with Jay-Z or dinner with Allvin
  5. I see a lot of Cody Glass in Danielson. Don’t think he posses the offensive qualities necessary to justify picking him at 11. I’d much rather go after Willander, Wood, or Moore, assuming Benson, Leonard and Reinbacher are gone. I’m liking Willander more and more. He has the size, skating, defensive ability, and most importantly the snarl and physicality. I feel like he could be the Seider of this draft. Hughes, Willander, Pettersson is a good start to building our backend. Considering Buffalo needs a right handed defenseman for Power, I highly doubt he goes past 13th at this point, so I’d much rather just draft Willander with the 11th than to trade down.
  6. Trent Frederic is a good 3C option. Really good defensive forward. Unlikely to sign with Boston.

    2. Elias Pettersson

      Elias Pettersson

I'd love to have Trent Frederic.  If Boston doesn't want him, we should be all over him...

    3. Odd.

      Odd.

Boston is afraid to qualify him because he has arbitration rights. If he wins, he gets paid $4M+ and Bruins can’t afford that.

We can offer him a longer term contract such as 4 years x $2.5M as our 3C. He’s only 25 years old and fits with the age of the core.

    4. Elias Pettersson

      Elias Pettersson

Frederic doesn't play centre though.  He's only took 72 faceoffs last year and is not very good.  I'd play him up front on left wing with Miller similar to PDG playing there last year...

  7. Looks like Canucks took out Danielson, Barlow, and Willander out for dinner. They did not interview nor speak to ASP at all. according to Harman Dayal
  8. I’d do this trade in a heartbeat. We would then have 5 picks in the top 79. We drop 4 spots and still pick an excellent player, gain immense draft capital, and stock up on prospects, while shedding a winger + cap. I also don’t mind switching the 3rd for L’Hereux or Schaefer.
  9. How about they license and insure these bikers. No way I should have to pay a biker I hit because of their own stupidity for their injuries.
  10. Sieganthaler/Hamilton Hughes/Nemec Bahl/Marino That is an incredible defensive core.
  11. I see him more of a Duchene type than Larkin.
  12. I hope Simashev or Wood aren’t taken.
  13. Willander over Simashev, Moore, or Wood would be a mistake.
  14. Peeke sucks as much as Gudbranson to be fair.
  15. Canucks need to do everything they can to grab Cuelemans. 6’2 RHD 25th OA from 2021. Solid two way defensive defenseman with physicality and grit. With Severson, Jiricek, Boqvist, Bean, Peeke, Blankenburg, and Gudbranson on the right side alone, Cuelemans could be an expendable piece.
  16. CBJ get Miller they’re going to be nuts.
  17. The dark side of the force is a path way to many abilities… some consider to be.. unnatural.
