    I agree. Sure, he's super talented, like Gaudreau, but when push comes to shove, players like them vanish.

    A total mess is a massive exaggeration. Next year is going to determine a LOT.

    I agree the rebuild should have began in 2013, but Gillis wasn't the guy to oversee that. Other than Horvat, his drafting record was horrible. Benning made many mistakes but his group were able to draft Hughes, Petey, Demko, Podkolzin, etc... and trade for Miller. Let's pray this new management group can put together the team that wins us our first Stanley Cup.

    One of the best things having Schenn partner with Hughes is, no one messes with him. That's worth a LOT.
