I’m assuming you mean he ranked top 10 in preventing shots against and scoring chances against on a PER 60 basis but if that’s our barometer for top 4 -raw on-ice stats unadjusted for team strength or quality of competition- why not sign Ian Cole? He had equally good numbers and will cost a lot less.
or trade for Conor Clifton or Marcus Pettersson or Derek forbort. All 3 could be had for very little and all 3 had similar on-ice defensive numbers.
reality is Zadorov, while strong and good with his stick and good at blocking shots, has poor transition play and negative value offensive play. Canucks NEED pick movers. It’s the main thing Rutherford indemnified as a problem with this team is their inability to break the puck out. Zadorov does not help in this regard and paying him 4+ million to essentially be a #4 defensive Dman is poor use of the Canucks cap and roster space
Sounds like you just explained perfect partner for Hughes?

The world won’t end if we don’t trade him. We can always re-sign him. I know you won’t like that but it sure as hell would make a lot of other Canuck fans, our coach and his team happy.
Excactly we sign him and move horvat

Toronto Sandin Niemela Kamff
Pittsburg Poulin Oliver Joseph

La Roy Turcotte Granz
Rangers Kakko Schiender kravtsov
Columbus 6th pick peeke Tiex Jenner
Devils 2nd pick Bahl Zacha smith Holtz

Zadorov is slow as cold molasses. We shouldn’t (IMHAO) go anywhere near him.
He played with gudbranson all year and that might of been there best pairing on best defensive team in nhl

Wonder who people would prefer... Lundkvist or Marino?
Zadarov. Clear cap jt

Marino was playing with a crap partner that forced him to be “the guy” on the pairing. With Hughes Marino gets to be the complimentary piece, which is perfect for how he plays best.
You don’t trade miller for fringe top 4 d and 3rd liner that’s what boeser was for

I would easily bet Boeser & Kuzmenko combine for 40 goals...
It would be a safer bet than Miller gets 95 + points again? (Particularly for us )
Well he has no cap to work with so he needs top 4 d and forward to replace some of miller points In trade hopefully he nails it

Good grief, Sunshine. You keep repeating your comments over and over. Why don't you save your breath
and wait to see what the team looks like in the fall? Go out and enjoy the summer and leave it to the pros
to do what needs to be done for our team.
Acctually in process in my sports business degree one day hopeful to be the “pro”

Boeser is a pure goal scorer. Those players are hard to find. Garland is not a pure goal scorer. Boudreau called him a 3rd liner. 3rd liners can be easily replaced. 30 goal scorers cannot.
People love come in van city and play cause we’re so soft trading miller and Garland won’t fix that

Boeser has skills that are unique. Garland is easily replaced.
You are wrong my friend trading Garland gets rid of our only guy in top 6 with heart besides horvat

Okay, now we know what you’re up to. Why was Brock our best trade chip, exactly?
Like I stated asset management he frees up cap and coulda maybe got us top 5 d and 3rd liner without moving Garland which will prolly happen now

Because he is soft as butter and top 6 winger that coulda got us top 6 d and maybd 3rd liner on cheap contracts this means trading Garland and I hate that idea

Can we all agree it's hilarious the same people trashing boeser for not scoring 30 goals think miller is worth 9m after getting his first 30 goal season at age 29?
You can’t teach heart and grit you win with boeser is soft as butter that’s why I hate trading Garland to fill these holes he provides grit in our top 6

And he will. JR Alvin and co know what they’re doing.
I’m hoping so cause in my opinion boeser was our best trade chip to aquire assists and shred cap is what I woulda done my opinion I’ll hold criticism until I see how else he tries fill these holes

I like watching their spins, plus it looks great next year when it blows up in their face. Like KingofSurrey dunking on Benning for trading a 1st round pick for a 13 goal scorer. Then JT going on to be an elite first liner and bringing us a great haul dunking KoS off the board completely.
You do not understand asset management my friend

And we’ll get them.
You don’t understand asset management Boeser was clear option for cap clearing move to get good returns on cap friendly deals poolman Pearson Dickson are all zero value we will have pay to move them

I already said one of Petey or Bo. Boeser should improve with the weight of a difficult season, Kuzmenko and Podkolzin are positive question marks. And we're not trading Miller for nothing so the return for him will help in a positive way as well as filling needed holes in the lineup.
I’m not seeing that replacing miller and giving us cap for 3rd line centre 2 top 5 d boeser was great option to clear cap to get solid player on cap friendly deal ie bellows and mayfield
