I hope at some point Petey decides to take matters into his own hands and breaks his stick over the next loser that tries to rough him up, that or deliver an elbow of all elbows. Similar to how bure handled things when he was being roughed up excessively. Looking at the refs isn't going to do anything, he's starting to look like Johnny gaudblow out there.

Just own your opinion and stop caring what some online people think. You don't like the trade? That's fine, you have your reasons... People upset that you have a differing opinion? Welcome to the Internet. The trade can't even be fully judged until we see if toffoli resigns in the summer or if he leaves. So until then, there's no point beating the topic to death. Rough start. Montreal came out flying and were finishing off every check, specifically targeting Hughes and Petey. It was looking like it might be one of those games, but was happy to see Green take the timeout and settle the boys before things got out of hand. After that timeout, everyone seemed to settle and the comeback was on. Demko played solid enough to get the boys into ot. Hughes struggled and was clearly a target. Made up for some of his mistakes with a glorious ot shift leading up to the goal. Congrats on the 50th pt! Petey was off all game. Getting constantly hacked and whacked. Whiffed on a few beauty setups from Miller that I'm sure he would have loved to bury. Overall rough game for Petey, but he'll come back stronger.. Gotta get used to this abuse as it's not going to get easier for him the rest of the way. Captain Bo following up one of his best games against Boston with another solid performance tonight. Keep it going Cap! Jake and gaudette big games, we don't get anything out of this one without their performances. Beagle whiff of the year just lol Motte always throwing the body, love it.. I knew as soon as we made the trade that this guy would light it up! Maybe my opinion of him has been biased off of the fact that Ive seen him consistently light up our canucks team in all his years as a King, but by God am i ever happy he's a canuck. He's stepped in and is already contributing in a big way. They really need to find a way to sign him in the offseason. Not the prettiest win, but we'll take it. On to the next!

I posted this before the game and Bo came out and delivered exactly what I wanted from our captain. Great game. The fight was perfect. No hesitation, this is the bo i want to see on a nightly basis! Hard nosed, don't take crap from anyone and throw that weight around.

I really want to see bo have a big game tonight. Show some snarl, show why he was made captain. For the last little while he's been far too gentlemanlike. I get that hes trying to emulate Henrik Sedin but bo has to realize he's not Henrik and never will be. Bo should try and emulate someone like Dustin brown when he was leading to the Kings to their cups. Hated brown, but he was a great leader for them. Similar physical builds, similar stats... Bo needs to impose his will more, hes an ox.. He doesn't have the skill to try and be Henrik.
