Here's hoping Hog gets a hatty in OT!

Funny, these first 2 games are actually the two scores I remember it being when the Canucks faced the Anaheim Ducks under Boudreau. Either we'd lose 4-0 or the games would be a nail biting 2-1 finish. Anyway, good game by the Canucks. They may have missed a ton of chances, but for the most part the game was pretty balanced and back and forth. There was a bit where they were under siege, I didn't like their start to the second period, but they definitely got better, and their penalty still looks way better. Glad Miller went and got a goal back in the shootout for that error. Demko's going to thrive in this new system.

5-3 Canucks Hoglander Over

I swear, that has to have been the first game in YEARS I've seen the team play strong the WHOLE game. No huge stretches of desperation, just sustained pressure, back and forth play. I don't have words for what I've seen, but that's the best I've felt watching this team in an age. And the first thing I noticed watching was the team was hitting early, and those were ACTUAL hits, not the statistical hits, but hits that you'd feel. This game gave me whiplash from the difference from last game.

Going to be very interesting to see how this team's playing in a few games if this is what we're seeing after a single practice.

Watched the last Pittsburgh vs Edmonton game. They really seemed like the better team for the majority of it, it just happened that pretty much every single time they made a mistake they gifted a great scoring chance to McDavid and co who're going to bury it every single time. They also lost against Calgary so they're going to be hungry for a win to avoid losing 3 straight on the trip out here. Should be a great test to see if this team can turn the 2 wins against the bottom teams into a solid win streak. Here's hoping!

Well so far, really hating the coverage of this game. Just the way those guys gush over some of the Ottawa players sickens me.

If it's a night where the Coyotes can win 1-0 outshot 15-46 on a goal from Roussel set up by Loui, then anything can happen, even Canucks winning the special team battle and the game.

Well at least they were still getting some chances that second half as opposed to the first period where they just did nothing after the first half.

Come on guys, let me get comfortable at least before you start giving up prime scoring chances.

It's felt like forever since I've seen a Petey goal like that.

Knew it was a bad sign when they talked about how the Canucks penalty kill had killed 8 of it's last 10. Then the next 2 PKs........

Hey, maybe Pod can help reignite Petey if they stick together. This would of course require our lines not immediately being scrambled again but I can hope.

So, has the team considered experimenting with a 3 forward 2 defenseman powerplay? I know all the powerplays these days seem to be a bout the 4 forwards 1 defenseman, but would really hurt so much to experiment a bit?

So I think every time I've predicted shutout for the Canucks it's kinda gone bad, so maybe doing the reverse will work 2-0 Columbus. GWG Jenner

This kind of hockey is unwatchable right now. Only really checked in for Bo's goal. Is it really going to take waiting for the Arizona game and having Loui score a hat trick on us for something to happen?

You can't have a bad penalty kill if you don't take any penaties XD. Much needed break after what it's been like. Well I did say I'd wait until this Chicago game, come on boys, keep it up, let's go for the reversal. XD
