After Eriksson gets his bonus money. There should be acouple teams willing to take him with maybe a 2020 2 or 3rd round picks. Senators should be interested or Panthers or Coyotes.

I'm not taking away his skill at all and I agree but calling him a power forward is like calling Patrick Sharpe or Stone a power forward. Then again that term has changed over the years....

You right about helping the oilers but that's why if you've read most of the posters that are okay with the move expect 8 overall pick to come with him...that way yea your paying 6 million for a goon but you also get a player like Cozens or Dach or Zegras for pretty much the remainder of the contract....

How is Boldy perfect? I get he has the hockey iq and hands and can shoot the puck but he doesn't really create space out there for other to work....sounds kinda like a soft top line...not butter soft but soft

Newhook scares me still cause I heard he didn't make jrs cause of lack of engagement..... I'm not sold on Boldy...There's a scouting report on him on YouTube calling him a pwf and I didn't see any real power moves ( my opinion isn't worth much though)

You said Lucic couldn't get points even playing with Mcdavid which is true but mcdavid is what the fastest skater in the NHL. Lucic has never been even close to that. Lucic actually played good with the Nuge and I would say Nuges skating is on par with most of the Canucks. Mcdavid also only has one gear. Those Ahl players you mentioned if they could play in the nhl they would already be there. Aslong as Lucic can get his fat @$$ to the front of the net. He would fit perfectly here. Bo is really the only guy we have that does that job well . Say what you want but there's many times loui looks like his wearing his suit under his gear and atleast Lucic will do his job...yes his over paid but his not done. Ask your self this iggy lost a step big time but he could still do his job for the AVs. Lucic plays a even simpler game then iggy.

Jim has mention he likes the USA players so I would say Zegras,Newhook,Krebs. I put Krebs third cause of his injury.

I agree but I'm willing to bet his not the first one to pull something like that and usually players don't repeat what's told to them during hand shakes. I'm sure Pronger or some other of the players have some real choice words for some players.

1. Canucks fans have talked mad **** about him too all cause he played for Boston...I don't remember him having problem with the city or the people before that. 2. Every team has a scum bag. Heck the teams that won cups have more then one ha 3 it's been said his in better shape and also Oiler's players are above average skaters or the most of them. 4 that's the reason everyone wants 8th overall to come with him so paying Luic for those four years and also getting a guy like Zegras or Cozens on the cheap for the following years makes it worth while.

Reeves would be great but I would prefer picks coming back too and Luic could pull a Kelser and only pick two teams and Oilers could be willin to pay an kings ransom,that's the only way I would be okay with him coming to the Canucks.

I think Madden will be better then Guad to be honest. Madden has already showed his a gem and has play making and finish and Iq and is a real hound for the puck.

I would take both those players if it meant the Canucks finally got a cup...like I said you win with those pos players. Hawks and Kings had a few....We tried the gentleman game(Sedins) we got nothing and our own pos player Kesler was a huge reason why we beat the Preds and went to the final.

I agree on Messier...but Jim does know Luic from his days in Boston and I can't see him willing to bring a cancer into a young Canucks lockeroom. Everything you said can go against the rat in the Boston too and I haven't seen the young guys doing that type of stuff...

Losing Guad might hurt but with Madden in the pipeline and there's usually decent third line centers on the market....

You do know you win in the playoffs with those types of pos.....I agree he wouldn't be my first choice but if we can add picks it's worth it. We need someone to protect our young guys....rooster is a pest and his rubbed off on jake this pasted season. With Luic in the line up I could see jake making bigger hits and being a even bigger pest and all the other younger guys would have a safe work place

The Hawks had it figured out after they got their high end guys, they took guys that played with an edge and kept the pool stocked with them.
