If you look at the pasted cup winners like Hawks and kings both heavy teams and not just heavy but nasty.....Pens had balance and also the East is a different beast.....Domi actually looks like a center....small skill players do best in the east...just like st.louis. Drafted by the flames then went to the sharks and ended up with the Lighting and then he becomes great player....I'm not saying small skilled players can't play in west but they do best surrounded by big nasty players like Kane was with the Hawks I'm not saying go out and draft big guys just for the sake of drafting.....I want to see the Canucks puck players that are POS to play against like Kesler and Burrows.... thats why Zegras is higher on my list then Boldy....

I agree and the Lighting problems is they are built the way the Canucks were....fast and skilled...which works great for winning the president trophey but not so great in the playoffs... If you look at the Stanley cup final teams neither one had a player that makes 10 mil... I agree about the leafs fans.... I agree they should have shipped Nylander....there's players like him in every draft... so you would sign JT for 11 mil before you signed Petey( your star player) ? Like I said they will look back and regret that signing and they will win jack all....the whole time his there.

Skill wise and yea worst case his Bo winger and I think teams don't win a cup without two pwfs in there top six or guys that will do anything to win like sharpe and Hossa and boldy kinda reminds me of Hossa...his a skill player not a pwf...in my books. So a boldy BO and jake line is an ideal line in my books. Thats also why I want Zegras....his a rat vibe lol I may not be a fan of the rat and loving watching him choke on tears but I think Zegras and Bo and Jake would be a even better line....

I don't see that happening....I think he will be a Stone good two way forward but from watching him he doesn't have that attitude like the Tkachuks and what Petey and Brock need is some like burrows....If we draft Boldy I wouldn't be surprised if he works out perfect with bo though. Edge is something a player has or doesn't....there's a lot of big guys that don't use their body to the fullest.

Do you know the difference between a retool and a rebuild?...Jim tried to do both at the same time and it didn't work...Jim was trying to give the Sedins one more kick at the can...He took a gamble and it didn't work sue him....a lot of Gms try what he did....oilers trade a first for Griffin reinhart.....another first for cam talbot.....blues tried it with magnus paajarvi and it didn't work....it's not like Jim had much to work with..he had no prospects outside of Bo worth anything at the time and whole team was old or had No trade clauses.....thx to Jim we have OJ and Quinn that play left side Jett woo and hopefully another RD this draft....so chill lol

Agree on some of his passes won't translate to the nhl but I give Zegras the edge cause his play style reminds me of the Rat....I can't say to much about Newhook I've only seen his tourney play.

I'm not to worried about him becoming Goldy...from what i've seen Zegras gets in the on the for heck and will block shots....
