WTF. How does this happen?

Kind of feel that way, but I will still watch and hope for a few things. The Jets to take the North, the Leafs to drop the ball at some point, Vegas to lose, Bennington to suck, Sens play spoilers. What I struggle with are my feelings as a Canuck fan since 82. That is that the Charlie Brown cloud that always seems to follow his franchise has shown up again.

This. The season will have so little runway left once this blows over, weren't making post season anyways. Call it a season. Just a cluster f#k of a season anyways.

I suppose finish with standings for the Canucks based on percentage. But should all the standings in the North be adjusted to percentage. Some teams have played us more than others, some teams will lose more games than others if we bow out. Kind of throws the competitive balance off.

Gotta wonder. If the Canucks do cancel their season I can't think of an example in the modern era for where they would place in the standings. Anyone have any insight into what has been laid out in the rules to start this season? You got to think it was thought of.

I love it. I don't like outright plays to hurt. But I love some attitude and hate in the game. Hockey is meant to be played just a little pissed off.

I like the makeup of the Jets. I hate the Leafs and anything and everything to do with that franchise. It frustrates me how the Leafs seem to have the Jets number. This may well be the Northern final two teams and it will pain me if the Leafs advance.

Exactly. Having been involved in minor hockey for fifteen years I've seen this many, many times. A kid can skate like the wind, or is more mature and stronger than the others. Sometimes that kid never learns the game because he never had to. He would just shine by leaning on his given attributes. Thing is once all the other players catch up to them their lack of hockey sense or skill makes them look average. A lot of times they quit all together.
