Yip. I like Bo and he was a great Canuck. I don't like a lot of the comments regarding his stint so far with the Isles. It's a big move for a young man and a young family to play and live out East. If I see a 60 point season from Bo next year, then I will get behind a lot of the comments on here. I agree, give it a season. This said, I love JT and what he brings. The culture needs a new voice and with Bo gone JT has a much larger voice on the team. I love what JT brings and am very happy about the choice to retain a star player that despises losing like JT does.

I'm not a Torts fan, but I'm with him on this one.

For sure I've been critical of McD in the past but have to admit I've seen him take some strides in the right direction as far as compete and other intangibles go. I can't say the same for AM.

Been thinking on this. I'm betting the 13.5 per season has been leaked so thay when AM signs at 12.9 per season he can be praised by the media for taking the home town discount and putting the team first. Still too much for a player that lacks compete and doesn't hate losing enough.

To all the AM pundits. If you were to start the playoffs with your choice of number one center of Crosby or AM, who would you choose? I'd still go Crosby, even with the vast age difference. An example of why AM should not be the highest paid player in the NHL, not even close.

There's more to it than goals. Talking compete, leadership on the ice, future potential, value to their team, defensive ability while putting up the points. EP every and any day over an overhyped Leaf like AM. AM is pathetically weak at competing.

Cant wait for when AM signs for 13.5 per and we get to hear the medias take on how AM signed at a hometown discount. Lol.

I've said it before, I wouldn't trade EP for AM straight across. AM may be one of the most overrated players in the NHL because he plays on the Leafs. Doesn't pass the eye test for compete at all. Throw out the stats on this one because I've seen enough. Some players wilt when the going gets tough, some rise to the occasion. AM wilts like a Daisy in the Arizona sun. Maybe the weakest big bodied star I've seen on pucks and board battles. Usually on the wrong side of checks and battles. He can shoot, I will give him that. No way in heck I make AM the highest paid player in the NHL. Lol, good luck with that contract TO. AM is weak both physically and mentally.

This is a valid point. Horrible story for sure. But until found guilty, it's an accusation from awhile ago so it's not as simple as just taking away someones livelihood. To have this go through the courts will take years. Come to think of it, are there criminal charges? Maybe that will come from the report?

So he's been paid to go away almost as much as he's been paid to play. Stay away from this turd of a human.
