    That's fair. I'll probably have a real good sense of if I like the new group or not by the deadline, but something gut feel is telling me they have been targeting the 2023 draft for big moves since they got here. We'll see but I think in the meantime, it's gonna be a tough middle of the pack year again.

    Thanks for sharing. I appreciate the new regime as well, feeling hopeful for the future although they have not done much in the way of on-ice transformations yet, which I think we sorely need.

    Probably time to put on big boy pants and accept that this is a results based business, and for the last regime after many years the results weren't there. And with the new regime, it's much too early to make an assessment on results. And anything the media says or anyone says on here in the meantime, is just noise. #itiswhatitis

    Thanks for taking the time to write this up. Sounds to me like, they have a plan and aren't deviating from the plan just to make a move. I still give them a pretty low grade for this off season so far, but am very willing to hold off on any real judgement for at least a full season. Feels like they've been targeting next year's draft and off season since they got here anyway.

    Gary Bettman has done a fine job running the NHL and I refuse to cheer for other Canadian teams just because they are in Canada. Vancouver Canucks or bust.
