Guy walks around naked in front of kids on the street: "Arrest him!! What a sicko!! He needs a mental health check!!". Guy walks around naked in front of a bunch of kids in a pride parade: "Nothing they wouldn't see at any beach. Why is everyone so afraid of nudity? We're born naked. There's nude beaches all over Europe". I rest my case.

Except they don't. I'm talking about the pride parades. They advertise it as a "family event" parents bring their children. I'm not saying all parade participants are naked, but some are and some are scantily clad. Not only do the parents bring their children to check it out, they actually think they are doing a great thing.

[Rumour] Peter Chiarelli could join the Canucks

Honestly he might be an upgrade on Weisbrod. Isn't Weisbrod in charge of pro scouting? I'd say that's by far our biggest weakness. -

Are you kidding me? Is there a less oppressed group of people in western society right now than gays? They are celebrated like some kind of heroes and treated like royalty basically at all times. In the past, yes, they were treated like crap, but that's long over now. The pendulum has swung way in the other direction. I'd say too far. -
(Rumour) Poolparty wants out of Edmonton

I'm sorry to tell you this, but you're moving from $&!#hole to $&!#hole. Nanaimo is absolutely overrun by junkies. -
Just let nature take its course. Let the drug supply get so tainted that snorting a line of coke is as dangerous as snorting a line of rat poison. Shooting up should be as dangerous as shooting draino. You'll see a big spike in deaths at first, but they will taper off as people actually try and get help and future users don't start in the first place because it's too dangerous. Also they need to ban Naxalone. That's the worst thing that's ever happened to addicts. All it does is give them a false sense of security.

I've been saying this since the mid point of last year when Markey really turned his game around. -

Confiscate all properties found to be bought with dirty money and give them to low income families. Chinese crooks should lose every penny of dirty money and assets they have in Canada. -
I was just saying all kinds of mean things about him to my friend yesterday. I feel like a total asshole now. RIP and condolences to his family and friends.

This is really dumb. Even by Botchford standards. And that's saying a lot. -
We should make the draft in Vancouver a good atmosphere
mayor MCcheese replied to a topic in Canucks Talk
On Karlsson, I'm not against it per se, but his injury history does worry me. When we have players coming here that were previously very durable during their careers running into crazy injury problems as soon as they come to Vancouver, it makes me nervous about bringing over players with previous injury problems. That may change when Seattle enters the league and we have less travel though, so who knows. -
That really sucks. Might be best for him to call it a career. Not worth risking his long term health.
