    Love the player, not a fan of the person. He brings a pedigree this team desperately needs, but not at the cost of the character issues. At 50% retained it's hard not to take a look, I just don't see it as the right fit considering the current state of the franchise.

    Sorry, Teemu, not sure how much you watch the Leafs, but my wife is a die-hard fan, so i'm usually right there with her...anyways. Holl is big, but does not play big, he might try and throw the odd big hit, but they are never 'heavy' or 'hard' I don't know where you say he is a good skater, but he is a bit of a slug, he hangs on to the puck too much in his own zone and forces strange plays when an easier one is available. Luke Schenn at 850k is way better value than Holl, IMO.

    When he was with Minnesota, he was DEADLY. His shot was crazy, he was a Canuck killer early in his career...I'll always remember his pure skill. Solid career!

    Juice is such a breath of fresh air on this panel. I'm a bit biased, Bieksa is my all-time favourite Canucks D man! I may be a bad person...I really want to see Keith get his head ripped off tonight, oops!

    I have never witnessed the northern lights! which is a little embarrassing considering I grew up in Northern BC! It's really clear here...hoping for an intermission show!

    Yup, i'm in my 2nd year of the social service program at North Island College. I hear ya, i'm 36 and one of the oldest in my cohort and one of the 2 men in a 16 student cohort haha. I feel really out of place considering my previous work experience, but overall it has been good for me, socially and interpersonally, to work on some of my weaknesses. You've got it! I was a terrible student in high school, but have slowly figured out post secondary as a 'mature' student!
