Pretty hard to argue, this is a great team. I think that Taylor Hall should have made it but his bad team seems to overshadow how good he his whereas Nash often appears slow and unmotivated in his play. None the less, I'm very happy with some of the so-called bubble selections, especially Benn. He seems to be a true heart and sole player that gives all he has when it is needed.

I think more than just a wake up is needed. Seeing how the team has regressed to the same style of play as last year means that there is a culture issue, those inside the dressing room responded to the coaching to start the season but have reverted back to their past styles of play.Hate to say it but there needs to be movement out of the core of players serving in the role of team leadership which would include any of Sedins, Bieksa, Kesler, Burrows.

Normally I'd agree but Saturday was the home opener so all of the supposedly great pre-game celebrations did not get televised because the Leafs were late getting started due to their opening festivities, secondly the overtime and thirdly the shootout. Not to mention, after the shootout instead of immediately switching to Vancouver, we had to watch a couple minutes of the Leaf players patting Reimer on the ass when we should have been watching the Canucks!

Absolutely no truth to this. Gillis' post season comments reaffirmed his high hopes for Hodgson in that he said that many trade deadline deals did not happen because everyone wanted Cody and he didn't want to let him go.
