    My thoughts as well. I thought he would go to a program with a aging veteran or uncertain starter to be mentored for a year or two and take over eventually.

    Rutherford and Alvin are treating Boudreau like sh*t and look like a bunch of amateurs. Boudreau has been nothing but a class act Rutherford is constantly throwing his coach under the bus and rumors to have met with Tocchet in Vegas and on and on it goes. The current coach is a lame duck under these idiots who are full of cheap talk but no action.

    Ya, certainly a connection with Rutherford from Pittsburgh but Tocchet has a crappy head coaching resume. I don't get why he seems to be the guy for Jimmy and Patrick.

    That is the biggest bang for the buck right there. OEL should be the target but would also cost the most to buy out.

    I liked the 85-89 version where they used orange instead of red for the secondary colour. Apparently this was changed to red because the orange was too hard for the manufacturer to make back in the day.

    I agree, his track record on making things up, at least those that apply to the Canucks, is horrendous.

    Feels like losses like this are a bit more tolerable. Questionable overall team defense at times but there was a reasonable effort by the team for most of the game. Win or lose I at least want them to seem like they care and this was a pretty good game against one of the leagues best teams.
