Cuthbert is very good too. Yeah some regional American ones can be terrible.

I like John and John too. Quite knowledgeable and they correct themselves if they realize they're wrong, they're funny and probably best of all they know the Canucks very well. They're definitely homers though. And Shourhouse's voice is kinda monotone.

So this may be old news or not surprising to some, but i just found out and was shocked that some people(specifically Leaf fans) don't like Jim Hughson'sy play by play. They say he has a strong bias against the Leafs and basically say he's boring unless he's talking about something he's personally enthusiastic about. Maybe worst of all, they think Bob Cole was better! This actually blows my mind! I've actually chosen to watch a different game or just watched on mute to avoid listening Bob Cole because of his slow, uninformed, biased, boring calls. To me, Hughson is far and away the best play by play commentator. I've always thought that he is very unbiased, clear speaking, very knowledgeable, very accurate, and enthusiastic about everything. Anyway, thanks for listening to my little rant. Feel free to comment about your favorite/ least favorite commentators.

Just picked this up on the PlayStation store. Haven't played one in a few years. Since they added the CHL leagues actually. Which brings up a question. In franchise mode, will i (as the canucks) own the rights to everyone the canucks have drafted? I assume I'd still have to create NCAA guys like Hughes and Madden, and transfer the European prospects over to the Comets right?
