yeah a 3070 aparently is supposed to out perform a 2080 Ti and cost far less then one too. Which is why I say to wait on buying pc parts right now getting the latest console is a much better option if your wanting to play on the latest consoles and look at building a pc early next year. Some predictions of the AMD GPU's coming out are saying they may be even faster then the Nvidia cards I doubt it but AMD has been known to surprise people every 10 years or so. EDIT: Also the 3070 will be cheaper then a 3080 by a few hundred dollars. Also just read that the 3070 is going to be releasing on Oct 29th

your going to want something like a Nvidia 3070 or whatever AMD is coming out with right now is not a good time to build a pc until more stock of the latest Graphics cards are available. If your looking to get started though use https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/ to get all of the best deals on parts. I recommend waiting for the newest CPU and GPUs to release. So with 4k its only really noticeable on a larger screen like a 55" TV so a 4k monitor is not all that useful. I prefer a higher refresh rate with the maximum detail in a game I can get. I currently use a 32" 1440p 144hz monitor which is in general much better for gaming. The best way to get started is to look at the kind of budget your willing to spend on a gaming pc and look at builds online around that price range. You can use sites like pcpartpicker or you can get a pc made online from sites like Digital Storm Online, Origin, NZXT, and Maingear these can be really good as they give you warranty that is covered for the entire system and not just for the individual parts. If your into building your own gaming pc like me which is now a lot more easier to do then in the past can save you a lot of money as well. Nvidia has just released a new video card which outperforms its previous gen video cards by a lot, so its best to avoid purchasing a a 2000 series graphics card right now as well as AMD are releasing a new line of graphics cards to be announced on the 28th of Oct and getting a full release date some time after this announcement. I'm a huge gaming pc nerd so I love building my own pc and getting the best of the best so my gaming rig I am currently using cost upwards of 4000$ CAD

I agree with you there is a bunch of other threads with nearly the exact same message about Benning. Everyone is on this Anti-Benning kick these days just because he let a few guys walk makes no sense to me he hasn't done much yet to address the current situation but the next season isn't until possibly January? Plenty of time to get something done. I personally love it when he takes the time to get something done. Fact is this team proved everyone wrong when they went to game 7 against a stacked VGK team and beat the defending Stanley Cup champs, Benning to me has earned his next contract extension. I am excited to see how he can improve the defence.

I mean lets say Vancouver makes a trade for a top 4 RD, next year it will be hard to re-sign Hughes and Petterson. So to me it makes sense to not handcuff the team to another long term deal. Until Hughes and Petterson are locked up for long term deals the team should be cautious on how they spend cap space. Maybe if they could send Eriksson to Florida in a deal for Ekblad who knows really except for JB and Company

Unloading cap should be top priority mainly for getting ready to resign Petterson and Hughes signing Toffoli might not help with that especially if he can't unload any of those bad contracts. I didn't like the Eriksson signing at all but it will be interesting to see what happens going forward though.
