  1. Could of been something I would agree its a draw but if JB had the pick he might of picked someone else and who knows who would of that been so I would say it would be leaning closer to a loss as a 2nd round pick is better then what Vey brought to the team. With the Subban trade as well I wish they had given him a bit more of a look might of been something more there though I think he would of been better as a forward instead of defenceman. Even though I wished he got a better look he clearly hasn't been able to translate his game to the NHL level though.
  2. If your internet service provider is shaw you can get free anti-virus through their website. They offer Mcafee which is what I use and I use it on 3 computers.
  3. Yeah I agree it made sense at the time when we signed those contracts but they never panned out well for them and created the cap problems that followed. I am honestly excited to see what happens next with the team. Everyday is like a waiting game for something to happen so excited to see what JR/PA/AC do with this team.
  4. Yeah unfortunately Benning and Weisbrod were very poor at contract signings always spending to the cap on players that are declining in production. Never fully rebuilding properly. It made sense at the time but the players they brought in never produced at the level the Canucks needed them too. I'm of the mindset that we should sell high on Miller as much as I like having him with the team he will be declining in the next 2-3 years outside of his prime so at this time it would be best to get maximum return. Hamonic and Pearson I believe we would have to give up picks/prospects to move those contracts I don't think people realistically would want them but if we can get anything for them I am all for that.
  5. I disagree with the return this team needs a proper rebuild and in 4 years when our current prospects will be in there primes any future prospects will be complimentary if the team decides to go that route which seems to be the case from all the reports coming out of Vancouver. So it seems teams are highly interested in Miller's services so the return could be quite good seems like there is a bidding war going on for JT Miller so will be interesting to see what they actually get. Miller though from everything he has said in the media seems to really like it in Vancouver and that is probably indicative with how he plays and how he is a positive force in the dressing room especially from a lot of the behind the scenes videos we are able to watch when the team posts them. So I don't really disagree with you nor agree with you its most likely somewhere in the middle.
  6. the most annoying thing about all of this is Bobby Kotick talking about the metaverse of gaming likes its a good thing but is completely tone deaf to how bad that will be for video gaming as a whole.
  7. I was playing TBC but have since lost interest I played Classic and yeah it was also fun played up until BWL came out then stopped lost interest as well but the best wow has to offer is to remove 15+ years of updates and that is the sad state the game is in and at this time Blizzard should look to do something else with the ip WoW2 would be awesome but I can't see them doing that at all.
  8. I used to play World of Warcraft a lot and then after Cataclysm I stopped playing and played it off an on a little bit but never at the same level I did for Vanilla to Wrath of the Lich King and now the game is just in an absolutely terrible state now so hopefully the purchase can improve the dev teams for some of these games but I think at this point though Microsoft doesn't fix the companies they acquire though so I am not expecting much to come from this.
  9. So big news out of video game industry but Microsoft is trying to buy Activision Blizzard. The deal if allowed to go forward should be complete by 2023. here is a link to the article. https://www.ign.com/articles/xbox-activision-blizzard-buy-acquisition-acquired
  10. lol I know what you mean I am also a Canucks fan currently living in AB for the moment but wife and I moving to BC soon I have always hated the regional lockouts so I miss like half the Canucks games. Flames unfortunately are doing well this Season but I hate the Flames more then the Oilers.
  11. Don't know this guy edited this post didn't even see the first name. All I saw was Burke and immediately didn't like it
  12. yeah vaccinated people can still get covid and yes can still spread it but substantially lower.
  13. Vaccinated people do not spread covid on the same level as unvaccinated people. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/01/11/briefing/omicron-deaths-vaccinated-vs-unvaccinated.html
  14. with the toll its taking on the health care system yes they should be taxing those who don't want to get vaccinated since most of the hospitals across the country are filled mostly of unvaccinated people. Its giving more incentive then what Jason Kenney tried to do here in Alberta which is pay people 100$ to get Vaccinated which the Vaccination rate in AB did not change whatsoever after this plan came out. I'm not against people not getting Vaccinated but to me these people if they choose to not get Vaccinated then that should come with a price.
  15. jail time and permanently lose license to drive minimum is what I think absolutely disgusting that they would run into this person and drive off like that.
  16. yeah I ain't saying he is an amazing coach and if he gets another coaching opportunity in the future hope things go better for him then.
  17. I do think he is a good coach and will end up with a new team a lot of speculation going around that he may end up with a new team soon.
