You'd be even higher if you signed Jokiharju. Especially since you have only 5 D playing.

If I were his agent, I'd be pretty mad at your nonchalance with his client.

Henri is a big part of our future, however as a team that can't compete with deeper teams within the division we felt it was in both his and our best interest to give him solid playing time in the minors and save our future for when we can actually compete. I'm sure Henri can appreciate being a part of a winning team! (Also, let's be real, we've seen guys do much worse things in this league. For all I know Jokiharju could get sent down still this year. 5 points in 3 games and now 2 points in the last 10....)

Pleased with how a lot of our prospects are doing. Standouts would include Tkachuk, Borgstrom, Batherson, Fortier, Addison, and Sorokin. Lots of the other players will take some time to adjust and develop so some slow starts are to be expected. Would like to wish Tkachuk and Merkley speedy recoveries.

I've been hearing the Pittsburgh Penguins have been getting lots of calls on Mikael Granlund recently. I believe it is unlikely the Pens are willing to trade Granlund and his team friendly contract that has his him locked up until 2022-23, but they have been listening...

We had hoped Mikael would be a big part of our future which is why we initially took on the risk of signing him to a longer term deal. He most certainly has proved us right in recent times. Given that we love him and have also made an effort to sign his brother Markus, he will not be made available for trade.

While the Rangers love to see the success so far - leading the league and first to 1000 - it means so much more knowing @D-Money is in 2nd.

Can't afford to take any nights off though, not when 7 Metro teams are in the top 14 of the league. That's insane.

What the hell. I just noticed that my team is one of them. This isn't in the 3 year plan at all!

I've been on Blackout as well, fantastic game. With BFV firestorm delayed it should remain popular for some time.

Been loving the game, however often times (I'm going to say 75% of the time) I get to the end of a match (like 6-10 people remaining) and I get a connection interrupted bug. Super frustrating.

Quick Question: When a player comes off LTIR, does the salary get pro rated so the time on IR is not charged against the cap? OR as i think it is; does the whole salary come back on the cap sheet when the player comes back?

The whole amount would come back. :)

  7. Washington accepting offers on Kyle Turris, Derek Stepan, and Cedric Paquette. All available at 50% retained for the next year, possibly two. Picks, Prospects, or young players on teams unlikely to be playoff teams is the ask. Turris will command a premium being that he is on Nashville, has a good contract, and is signed long term.
