You are wrong, once again.
Hamonic only wanted to play for Vancouver, Edmonton or Winnipeg. That's why he was a PTO with us.
Why do you bother? There are special kind of idiots who never listen to a reasonable explanation. They only have "#firebenning" tattooed on their foreheads.

That he will start the season in the AHL as he impressed and looked far more ready than they expected. They can always send him to the Q at a later date.
Thank you!

I feel like ever since we brought the Comets to Abby, we’ve been prioritizing proximity over everything. Closer isn’t always better. The Q has a pretty decent track record of producing offensive talent and I wouldn’t necessarily be opposed to him going there.
I would say that beyond skill, the other huge issue is language. Let the kid learn English rather than French now and then English later.

True but certain players fill certain roles and the roles for Pod/Klim are filling out fast, IMO
You can never have too many power forwards. Klimovich is not penciled to make the Canucks this season. He might be called up for a game or two in case of injuries and his good play in Abby. My opinion is that in the long run Klimovich would be a replacement for someone like Pearson. Or imagine a line of Horvat/Podkolzin/Klimovich in the future. Or Petterson/Boeser/Klimovich. Assuming both Podz and Klim develop nicely.

The question is "Is he good enough to compete with Podkolzyn" for a spot
I don't think they are mutually exclusive just because they both speak the same language :-)

However, his ability to evaluate players sure has. This is the same guy that kept icing a useless Player Name, employed Baumgartner, and refused to play OJ when he was playing well and clearly needed more minutes. Green is simply not capable of evaluating performance. I agree we should leave this to experts, which necessitates replacing Green with a coach who won't destroy the team with his poor decisions.
Back on your old horse, aren't you?

While it sucks that Gadjovich got claimed, please go through the recent history of Canucks losses to the waiver claims and name me one player that made it in another team.

For me, he was showing potential to eventually have some decent trade value. That’s I think bother me most about this…the asset management aspect.
If there is no roster spot, that’s fine.
But given another year in the A (again, yes he has to clear) and if he maintained the same progression, he could have become an trade chip if we couldn’t use him. Instead, another piece disappears for nothing. To make room for a PTO. A PTO who very likely could be waived once Sutter or Motte return.
I hope I’m wrong but this seems like a wasted opportunity.
You can’t have it both ways. He can’t play in AHL without clearing waivers. There was no trade interest (see Kuzma’s tweet above). He’s not there yet to crack NHL roster. What other options are there? Based on the history in the league, Chiason at present is a better option as he can play in different spots up and down the lineup. It sucks to lose Gadj, but it’s the reality of the CBA rules.

I really want to see Gadjovich and Klimovich on the same line in Abbotsford - 2 big boys. Also, for the record - it’s KlimOvich, not KlImovich

I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a game or two with the Canucks this season if there are some injuries...

As promised - Danila was told to work on his US visa on Sep 20/21. There was very little use for the US visa if he was to be sent to Q

Lol. with what cap space exactly? The only one remotely possible is Rangers, but they only have about 9 mil in cap space, which will be matched by Benning.

No, Benning shouldn’t have paid him six mill til he knew Loui was so adaptable as you think.
So, a player who was successful in 2 completely different systems with different coaches, playing in Boston and Dallas prior to signing a contract with the Canucks doesn't seem like someone who would adapt? And we are talking about 2 different coaches in Canucks during his play here. Please stop deflecting the blame. At the time of the signing, Player Name was at the top of the UFA list and Canucks weren't the only team after his services.

What??
Loui had no idea he would be in that system with par example Green.
This is on Benning that talked with both coach and Sedins.
You can’t be serious. A professional hockey player that gets paid $6 mil a year should be able to adopt to any system in his 5 years with one club. If he can’t - it’s entirely on him. No coach in the world would be changing the whole system just to fit one player…

He refused trade to Vancouver before and is kind of what we have, not necessarily what we need.
Ben Hutton is available I believe (That was meant as joke). He’s a right handed stay at home defenseman for 3rd pair. But if he doesn’t want to play here - that’s his problem lol

This dude is missing some key information. Look a few pages up, info by PinskCanuck about transfer list of Danila if he's assigned to the Q.
