  1. Yesterday this was for Stealthnuck for making the Loui react. But today, this is for my man Jimbo.
  2. I heard he's a killer Fortnite player though.
  3. https://www.pscp.tv/w/1vAxRwpXykqKl The periscope link has audio!!!!
  4. You can tell hockey season is really back because there sure seems to be a lot of...
  5. Marchard puts the ass in assistant captain (I know the A stands for alternate)
  6. Here's some of my training camp predictions: Roussel will look much quicker this year having had enough time to fully train and recover from his knee injury. His "shot out of a cannon" playoff goal was a perfect example of what he's able to do. Virtanen shows up in great shape and has the conditioning to handle a few more minutes a game. MacEwen will secure a full time spot. Pearson starts to slow down and might lose his spot on Horvat's wing. Petey and Hughes do more ridiculous alien things. Juolevi has an impressive camp and replaces Benn as 3LD Eriksson looks much better than he actually is in camp. Hoglander takes a spot in the top 9. Schmidt takes some time to adjust but is rolling by Feb.
  7. This is where the line break showed up on my screen and I had a good chuckle
  8. He had a decent game last night. I definitely agree that he saw his team was up by a few goals early and leaned into the defensive game to secure the win - awesome to have your Captain doing that. I definitely see him trying to do a bit too much sometimes. He wasn't quite in position to properly block the shots on the 2nd and 3rd American goals and ended up contributing to the screen rather than making the block. This is obviously teachable stuff though and not a huge deal as I'd much rather have the guy that actually TRIED to block the shot and failed, than the one who didn't bother. I think we'll see him push the offensive pace a bit more as the games move on.
  9. We in the Podz thread not the Hogz thread homie
  10. We'll be giving Vegas a run for their money for pregame entertainment, that's for sure!
  11. Very excited to see this kid come into camp in midseason form. It will be great to have a athlete like him who's apparently an absolute animal in the gym to push the rest of the team as well - especially ultra-competitive guys like Petey.
  12. No I think he's talking about John Vanbiesbrouck
  13. Just in time to distract me from my last semester of school before I graduate
  14. The King has entered the building.
  15. I'm not saying it would be a full time line but it would be a great option to have if some other more offensively inclined prospects pan out. I still think Motte has 20G/20A potential. Miller - Petey - Boeser Motte - Horvat - Podkolzin Hoglander - Gaudette - Lind Spreads out the scoring and gives us 3 lines with offensive potential.
  16. Yeah I think swapping Petey and Kuch would have done it. Much better than the NHL.com list as someone already mentioned anyways.
  17. His impact on the forward core will be similar to what Hughes did for our defence. It will be like having another Motte at the top end of our lineup driving the forecheck and making that little bit of extra space for guys like Pettersson and Boeser to capitalize on. The Burrows comparison is a great one. He'll be a great complement in the top 6 and be a play driver on the lower lines if we need him to be. Imagine a shutdown line of Motte - Horvat - Podkolzin in 2 years. Yikes.
  18. Totally, I think based on only the regular season it would be hard to put EP ahead of Matthews and Eichel juuuust yet. After this next year I don't find it difficult to believe. Same with Kucherov and Marchand who have both hit 100 points. If Petey's playoff performance definitely bumps him up a couple spots then I'd say Kucherov's cup win probably does the same for him lol. Overall this is a pretty good list. Aho is a bit low and Couturier is a bit high.
  19. Congrats for feeling the need to restate your opinion. I think he has a future as a depth contributor at the NHL level but that's just my opinion. We will continue to follow his growth optimistically here either way.
  20. I really hope that damn dam breaks. I need me some hockey news.
  21. Not sure if it's just the black jersey but looks like he's got some big shoulders on a decent frame too.
  22. He actually has double the number of NHL games Juolevi has. How can you make that statement when you haven't even checked your facts?!
