    Here's a thought -- I think there's a real chance Eriksson gets waived -- but instead of being assigned to Utica, he gets assigned to the Texas Stars. Sort of like how Sam Gagner got assigned to the Marlies last year. I think this could actually happen.

      Schaller for sure is gone. I think he's the fat boy at camp this year. 

       

      Loui going to the Texas Stars is a decent idea as well, if nothing else to shed the distraction. And who knows, Dallas may want to pick him up if he's one fire down there and they have injuries.

      Gagner was a huge AZZ for bad mouthing the club especially playing like dog manure (and no, suddenly playing better after being called back up is too little too late).  Benning does him a HUGE favor by loaning him to a AHL division rival so he could be closer to home.  And it wasn't just a case of a division rival but our AHL affiliate was in bad need of centers (you know when Gaunce is a key forward on your team - you're in BIG trouble lol).

      The problem with loaning him to the Stars is the ownership issue.  Doubt the Stars & Canucks owners are sending each other Xmas cards.
