I played COD4 on my 360 when it came out for a few months, and never had an issue. Then I got W@W and again, no issues.. However, a couple of months ago I picked up COD4 again, and it was freezing my system. Occasionally, my screen would get covered in a blue, checkered pattern, sometimes even upon boot up. The same thing is now happening with MF2. No other game has frozen on me, or given me any graphics issues, except the MF games. Just now, it gave me E 79 which means hard drive (or so a random website claimed). I took the HDD off, and it gave me the RROD. I unplugged it, reconnected and boom, no RROD. Still, every time I get into an online match, my game freezes. Sometimes it takes 20 seconds, other times a couple of minutes, and always when someone's shooting me heh. Any ideas what the problem with my console could be? Is RROD inevitable? How can I speed up the process? MF2 is the only game I own, and I just got it yesterday . Well RROD was inevitable.
