Hows this for an imagery poem(LOL reminded me of wings_imagery)

AAAAAA.jpg

The water was calm, and all I could

See was the reflection of the lovely city surrounding me.

I especially loved the

Beautiful bright lights that hit me with amazement.

The cars on the streets would be driving

At speeds you wouldn’t imagine, hearing the honks of

Their horns.

Who would of thought that staying up until

11P.M. would make me ever want to sleep again.

The dark black sky would glow

With the hundreds of lights hitting it.

The trees would move side by side, as

The wind would make a “SWOOSH”, as it hit them.

The two tall buildings would stand out the most

As they were nearly 70 floors high!

I could see the boats at the docks,

Stored away for use tomorrow.

I could smell that ocean water,

From a long distance away.

All I know is, I would never want to leave.

I no I suck.. This isnt twelth grade poetry.

A lab population of Drosophila was started with a small number of males and females from a

standard lab strain. After 20 generations, the population was examined and numerous mutant

phenotypes were observed. Three examples of these are forked bristles (wildtype is unforked),

apricot eyes (wildtype is red) and curled wings (wildtype is straight). The following crosses were

made with some of the mutants (assume that the wildtype parents are from a true-breeding line):

Cross 1: forked female x wildtype male

F1 all wildtype (F1 males and females mated to produce F2)

F2 ¾ wildtype (males and females)

¼ forked (males and females)

Cross 2: apricot female x wildtype male

F1 females all wildtype

males all apricot (F1 males and females mated to produce F2)

F2 ½ wildtype (males and females)

½ apricot (males and females)

Cross 3: curled male x wildtype female

F1 ½ wildtype

½ curled wings

What do these results tell us about the nature or type of the mutation that gave rise to these

phenotypes- that is, what is the likely mode of inheritance for each new trait (autosomal or sexlinked,

dominant or recessive) and why did you come to these conclusions?

Sounds like a paragraph with too many 'enter' keys:

Try adding some poetic techniques...not just a description.

A book slides of a table that is inclined at 30 degrees. The book starting at rest

accelerates down the table and falls to the ground. Assuming that the book started at rest,

the table length is 1.0 m, that the coefficient of kinetic friction of the table is 0.4, and that

the edge of the table where the book falls off is 0.8 m off the ground:

i) What is the velocity of the book as it leaves (falls off) the table?

ii) How far from the edge of the table (horizontally) does the book land ?

I need help.

I need to find a ballad that contains a portagnist antagonist, some conflict, intro, inciting event, rising action, climax, conclusion, point of view(optionanl)

setting, dialogue, repetition, rhyming scheme,, may have direction, should have short story elemnts.

Thats what it needs.

It could be a song, or poem.

Could someone help me find a good one that finds most of the stuff above, maybe leaves out 1 or 2.

Thanks.

I have to bring a board game on Monday for socials class. I don't want to bring chess or checkers because a lot of people are going to have that... I was thinking of something like Risk, but then it'd be too bulky for the locker and for me to carry all day. Anyone got suggestions?
