Guest
This is a fun one to listen to, from Bryan Adams' early past. This is the first single he ever recorded as a solo artist, him being only 18 years old at the time. With some help from Jim Vallance, who would be his songwriting partner for years to come, this became Adams' first solo effort: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPHsDr-XLww And here he provides lead vocals for Sweeney Todd as a 15-year-old. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7EljO0vWgo Edited January 19, 2013 by WeatherWise Link to comment
Salmonberries
I met Adams when he was singing in Sweeney Todd. I was over at my friends place weighing up a pound of pot we had just purchased and his groupie sister drug him upstairs to show off her catch. It was 1977 I think. He was fascinated by the bud, but wouldn't touch it, which struck me as a bit odd for a musician at the time but whatever. Really nice kid though. Later on I threw a copy of Traffic's The Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys album on my friends turntable and turned the volume way up. He came running up the stairs to rave about how much he loved that album and band. And a few years later he turned out to be Bryan Adams. Link to comment
