Ryan Kesler's Snipe
With our relationship with Florida i thought i'd take a crack at this: To Vancouver: David Booth Jason Garrison To Florida: Mikael Samuelsson Jordan Schroeder Yann Sauve Why Vancouver Does This: They replace an aging player in Samuelsson with a younger player in Booth who will be the winger that Kesler needs. They also get a defensive prospect in Garrison Why Florida Does This: Florida has shown interest in Samuelsson in the past and he could be valuable to them if they make the playoffs. They also in return for Garrison get a highly touted forward prospect in Schroeder and a defensive prospect in Sauve to replace Garrison. bossram
I'd rather keep our prospects. I don't know if Booth can get back to his pre-concussion level. If he can't, I would rather keep Samuelsson and save 1.5 million in cap space.
Guest The Brown Burrows
Not a fan of Booth or Garrison, so I'd obviously say no. With that package being offered we could get someone better.
Miss Korea Bob.Loblaw
Garrison isn't a prospect.... he's 26 and had a decent season with the Panthers last year. I think you're trying to say that he brings depth. But I don't know why you put him in the trade, because it complicates things.
susraiders
I don't really care for Booth. His cap is too high.

StenMan.EXE
Drop Sauve and i'm all in on this one here. I'm a lil skeptical on Booth, but i remember watching Garrison play in Nanaimo, and he's got some good talent and potential.
Dogbyte
I would do that in a heartbeat to replace Sammy with Booth.
kjames05
maybe a trade deadline move. i'm still scared about Booth and his production post-concussion. if he puts up decent numbers in the first 60 games, do it. i doubt Tallon would go for this though; florida's lineup looks a little bit like they can contend for a playoff spot if they get better one more legit defenseman and Theodore plays well. They couldn t sign him long term so who s to say he wants to be there. Why not get somethin for him while they can. With Brodeur past his prime and ready to retire, i d say a goalie should be in their near future and what do ya know, we have a back up goalie who s more than ready to take his place among starters. Add to that a Swedish forward in the last year of his contract and possibly a young center who never really found his groove in Van city and it could make for an interesting base for an interesting blockbuster deal. So heres how it would break down: To Vancouver: Zach Parrise To New Jersey: Corey Schneider Cody Hodgeson Michael Samuelsson Other players could be added both ways to sweetin the pot or even it up. Now,i know it may seem to be a pretty lopsided deal with us giving so much young talent and a pretty good winger, but i m thinkin the emergance of a certain young talent i believe is gonna garner alot of attention in Darren Archibald, would solidify a second line of Archibald, Kesler & Parrise. That would kick ass.

Phil_314
Booth's concussion issues and expensive salary are discouraging factors even though he's young. I've heard good stuff about Garrison but i don't think I would rather replace Sauve with him. Take Jason and Yann out and I would do it, esp. if it looks like Schroeder won't pan out and MOST IMPORTANTLY if Booth's healthy (and watches where he's going)
