unbridled_id
The catchy Subway sandwich shop jingle involving a variety of foot-long sandwiches available for $5 doesn't apply in San Francisco. The sandwich-making chain stopped selling the five-dollar footlongs in San Francisco due to the "high cost of doing business," according to SF Weekly. http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/No-Subway-5-Footlongs-In-SF-Cost-of-Doing-Business-Too-High-144709445.html

:D
The government raises their cost of enterprise and the store raises the cost of the merchandise. The people still hold the power by choosing to or to not eat there. It's not a big deal.

Redacted
Subway and Quiznos all tastes the same. It's slop and gross veggies on crappy bread. Try a Safeway Signature Cafe (freshly made, not wrapped in plastic in the cooler) sandwich. Made to order, fresh ingredients on an artisan bun of your choice...you'll never eat that fast food sandwich slop again, I promise! Plus, the variety! They have artichoke hearts and pepperoncini. Pepperoncini!
