As well moving our assets of Luongo and Booth, we could fill out our prospect pool or fill out suggested holes in the lineup.

Guest AriGold
Not a chance i want booth traded. Hes one of my favourite players before coming to the canucks. Booth and kesler need a natural play maker, AKA Ray Whitney.

crime911
Booth is not traded. Suck it Up. I think Next year our 2nd line might look like this Usual 1st line Booth- Schroeder- Kesler <---- (looks good but Schroeder top 6 doesn't make sense. too early?) Usual 3rd line Higg-Samuel (sp)- hensen 4th not sure.

Provost
I don't see Schroeder making the NHL anytime soon, and especially not on our team. He isn't as good as Hodgson (a playmaker), who wasn't good enough to supplant Kesler. I think that our prospect closest to being on the roster is Jensen, and I think that won't be for another season.... though he could push for a spot in the coming year and certainly wouldn't be worse than Raymond was this year. A lineup I would like to see would be something like below. On the off chance Weber doesn't want to re-sign with Nashville (maybe 10% chance) we use an offer sheet or at least the threat of one to get him. Then we find a cheap solid veteran who can put up points to try on our 2nd line and hope they don't fail like Sturm did, Huselius is a great example of what we could get for way cheaper than he is worth (he was injured this season). The guy is strictly a playmaker and could get more out of Kesler and Booth on a 2nd line... if he doesn't work out, we haven't given up anything for him anyways. crime911
^^^ you thinks Mg will trade luongo. but not cory. I highly doubt it. I think We should trade Cory to get kesler winger + draft pick. And i see this from Tampa bay only. cory to Tampa Rayan malone (sp) and Draft pick to Vancouver
Guest
To everybody defending Booth: He CAN'T pass, he is TERRIBLE defensively. Let's not get carried away with his potential.. the guy's had lots of time in the NHL and he just doesn't make the smart play. You can't teach hockey IQ He's a nice enough guy, he can throw big hits and has lots of speed. But his hands are just terrible, always commits turnovers, ices the puck in the last minute when we're defending a lead, can't make mediocre-difficulty passes, etc, etc
billabong
if this team does get swept i do expect something drastic to happen besides trading schneids or luongo....either it be firing av(unlikely), signing parise or suter or trading one or two of our core players

goblix
I hate when people put Weber into their lineup, I would love him sure but how do you get him of Nashville as a RFA.. Offer sheet? there goes 4 or so first rounders.. Trade? who do we trade? they dont need a goaltender so Kesler / edler ? If we have a shot it would be after the 2013 season when / if he becomes a UFA
