Ossi Vaananen
I gave you a plus in the Luongo trade value thread, but I'm starting to regret it. This trade is half-baked... creative, but half-baked. There is one thing I do agree with you on, that this team should get younger. If that means squandering a year, then fine. If it means having a youthful energetic roster for the finals in June 2014 then lets do it. Let Schneider take the reins, Lack back him up. Get a good defensive prospect that can play the right side, Schultz, Gardiner, or sign Garrison. Up front let Schroeder take the 2nd line centre spot while Kesler is out and give Kassian some real minutes. We might not win as much but a young team would be more exciting. Jägermeister
We are robbing Philly and Florida here. But I can honestly see us robbing Florida again.

Azzy Mahmood
I think we'd have a better chance of getting Voracek for that price than JVR. Which I wouldn't do, because Booth should be given time to find his game. As for the rest, I want Luongo to stay, and believe he will. Florida will not give up Versteeg and Matthias at all, never mind that cheaply. And I think the picks need to be swapped around on the Tampa deal - ie Ballard + 2nd. Rosterbation is hard

SteveNash
Chances are slim that Booth will nab us JVR.
Armada
When will you learn that there aren't just 1 for 1 trades? Sometimes you have to give three or four pieces for 1 piece that's a star player. We have no use for Brewer with if we're getting Schenn and Gardiner.

Armada
Because Booth isn't a very good "Quality" is he?
Jägermeister
Sometimes it does. For example, CBJ wanted a bunch of players, prospects, picks just for Nash. They didn't go around saying, we will only trade Nash for another high caliber player, like Malkin or Giroux.
