Bombastik der Teutone Posted February 4, 2013 Share Posted February 4, 2013 so the refs stole a goal from andre benoit last night ..tztztztztzt (2/4/13) Andre Benoit had what would have been his first NHL goal waved off on Sunday. Benoit beat Canadiens netminder Carey Price, but the officials waved it off and put Senators forward Jakob Silfverberg in the box for goaltender interference. That goal might have been the difference in Montreal's 2-1 win. After the game Senators coach Paul MacLean refused to talk about the officiating while Silfverberg didn't want to say too much without seeing the replay. He is not ready to return to the linup, but all indications are he will beat the one month LTIR assessment that came out just a week ago. This is great news for the rangers who were devasted depth wise with the retirement, defection, or holdout of five top flight players after the lockout. Saying that, AJ09, you better come to realize quickly that lethunder and his Buffalo Sabres are public enemy #1 around here. Oh, sure, he'll have good advice and can help guide you smoothly through the finer points of the game but they are pure unadulterated evil. The Sabres are the worst parts of the NY Yankees, TO Maple Leafs, Manchester United, Emperor Palpatine, Hannibal Lector and Gargamel all rolled into one. They're like the Serpentor of the CDCGML. I will wait another couple weeks but as of right now with tons of pending UFA's and older guys looking for cups, it might be in Nashville's best interest to rebuild.
