wai_lai416 Posted July 2, 2012 Share Posted July 2, 2012 salo prolly woulda easily signed before FA even begin @ his last yr salary if we offered him 2 yrs instead of the 1yr we are trying to offer.. you can never have too much depth in defense and considering how our defense looks every yrs Salo goes down? Opmac Posted July 2, 2012 Share Posted July 2, 2012 It's the 35+ contract rule. If he gets two years, retires after the first then you are stuck with the second year on the cap.
