vancanfan
Apparently he called coaches to meet him at their practice facility, then killed himself once they met. He was 25 one report says.
Brad Marchand
According to someone at CBS Sports, it was linebacker Jovan Belcher: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/21217885/chiefs-player-kills-himself-police-reportedly-investigating-two-shootings
vancanfan
Hearing now that the woman had a 3 month old baby, not sure of its condition but the woman he killed was the baby's mother. Terrible.
NucksPatsFan
What a coward. Don't have any sympathy for him, yet (will do if its revealed he was suffering from mental problems), but feel incredibly bad for the girlfriend and the now parent-less child. There were pictures of them looking happy as a family on Thanksgiving. Not only could he have spared the life of the girlfriend, why would one need attention so bad that they'd purposly traumatize their head coach and GM by shooting themselves in front of them? Crazy. Hope the child has grandparents or other family that will raise him instead of be put in the foster care system.
vancanfan
Yeah a coward no doiubt. Speaking of the KC Chiefs, the family that won the power ball from Dearborn Missouri said they picked the numbers of hall of fame KC Chiefs and surprisingly those were the numbers that were picked. How crazy is that.
CanucksSayEh
Would go a long way for the Chiefs to come out with a W tomorrow vs Carolina.
vancanfan
Who would you start ? CJ Spiller, his Bills are home today to the Jaguars, or Trent Richardson, his Browns are in Oakland. I also started Foster and Martin, but need to fill in my W/R option in my NFL league.
gmen81
Well it's monsoon type weather in Oakland, so don't expect lots of plays in the air. So TRich should get a lot of touches Now that I see its crap weather I think I might take out Josh Gordon and put in Kenny Britt. Hopefully Britt sees the ball more with the new OC running things now. Also Joseph is out for the Texans. Better be making the right decision here as this is pretty much a must win if I want to make the playoffs or not. vancanfan
Wonder what the Super Bowl ratings would be if it was Houston vs. Atlanta? Not something they have to worry about considering deals with networks were struck long before, so the money is in the bank already regardless who meets
