Not as unstoppable as the Montana to Rice shotgun play. 75% of the time he would go deep and kill it.

Yeah, that stickum sure helped . ;)

When it comes to playing football in any conditions, the challenge becomes not only throwing it but catching it. And in the ESPN segment narrated by Jim Trotter, Rice nonchalantly made a stunning (in hindsight) confession: Rice put stickum on his gloves.

“I know this might be a little illegal, guys, but you put a little spray, a little stickum on them, to make sure that texture is a little sticky,” Rice said, laughing.

It wasn’t a little illegal, it was a lot illegal. As explained in the ESPN feature, gloves were introduced to football after the NFL decided to outlaw the stuff that guys like Fred Biletnikoff and Lester Hayes (pictured) would spread copiously on their hands, and elsewhere.

Rice admitted in the feature that he enhanced the surface of gloves approved for use in the NFL with a substance that would make it easier to catch the ball.

And Andrew Luck has more TD's than Wilson in his first 3 years and only 3 less wins, and more pro bowl selections.

Clearly, Luck is the best QB of all 3.

Luck is better than Wilson although he's relied upon more, I want to see how Wilson would perform in the same role as Luck.

Threw a pick against the Cowboys to clinch the loss and the Packers game he had 4 ints and the SB of course. His untimely picks this year were glaring imo. Not a good pocket passer, yet...

Lmao it's a team game people get brain washed by espn and other media outlets tho.

ESPN and other media outlets are the ones hyping Wilson up as an elite qb when any idiot watching can see that Wilson is average and pretty much nothing with Lynch.

Haha nah man just no.

My reaction when I read it lol

+1

And if Lynch leaves, Wilson won’t be nearly as good. Teams don’t need to game plan around Robert Turbin. They’ll shut Wilson down with the average receiving group he has. I think Luke Willson can be really good next year though.

Average enough to have a better 3 years than Brady statistically, People forget Brady had a top 5 defense in his 3 years to.

He was barely better than Brady statistically, and very far behind in terms of accomplishments.

Also, Brady was the super bowl MVP twice in his first 3 years, that speaks to his play instead of riding his top 5 defense like Wilson does. Is it his fault he got drafted to a team with the best defense and a top 3 running back? Of course not, but call a spade a spade, he's an above average game manager while his running back and defense do what it takes to win games.

Luck has better stats than Wilson and only 3 less losses with 0 running game and a spotty defense, meaning Luck wins games on his own for the most part.

You rarely hear of games where Wilson put the team on his back and carried them to victory, he's a game manager. Most times, it's his defense or Marshawn who have to bail Wilson out, and ultimately Wilson gets accredited with the Win because other positions don't get wins and losses.

Wilson has the undisputed best defense in the league by a country mile. For the past 2 years they've allowed around 500 yards less than the next closest team; 3 years ago they were ranked 4th.

In 2005 the Patriots defense was 26th worst in the NFL in yards allowed

In 2004 they were ranked 9th

in 2002 they were ranked 23rd

in 2007 they were 4th

in 2011 they were 31st

You put Tom Brady on the Seahawks and they go undefeated.
