Giants Sign James Malm:

The Vancouver Giants are proud to announce the signing of James Malm to a Western Hockey League Player Agreement.



Malm was drafted by the Giants in the second round (44th overall) of the 2014 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.



The Langley native, played 56 games with the Burnaby Winter Club Bantam A1-T1 of the Pacific Coast Bantam "A" Hockey League.

The 5'8", 161lbs forward had 144 points (70 goals, 74 assists) in the 56 games with the Burnaby Winter Club.


"I am honoured to have signed with my hometown team, the Giants," said Malm. "I grew up watching the team and was excited when I found out I was drafted by the Giants."

Call me crazy but Mackenzie Wright drafted 7th round by seattle this year is gonna be the steal of the draft

I know him personally and his mom a cop. Well brought up young man.

Would u want the giants to get?

Vancouver got Max Gildon in the 3rd round from Plano Texas..they say if they can talk him into playing here..he has all the tools to be a #1 draft pick.

The Canucks might want to keep an eye on Benson.

Giants two wins to start the season!

I think every nhl hockey team will be keeping an eye on benson .. This guy is special and the giants are gonna be scary .

their D was a little suspect but boy can they fly . That game was so much fun to watch .

Another goal and assist for Benson today...Giants win 5-3 and 3 and 0 to start ...looking a lot different than last season.

I knew they were gonna be good !! I think we are only seeing the tip of the ice burgh . 3 and 0 .. Iove seeing the excitement on this message board as well . the excitement of 3 people . hockey town my ass ..
