As of right now, Stephanie McMahon is penciled in to face one of The Bella Twins at SummerSlam with the stipulation being that if Stephanie loses, Brie will get her job back with WWE. They just can't decide if they want to have Nikki fight for her sister's job or if Brie will actually get the chance to fight Stephanie for her own job. J529 Posted July 8, 2014 Share Posted July 8, 2014 Backstage News on Adam Rose. It's bad gimmick but I do like the bunny whom they should give a push. WWE officials, including Vince McMahon, are not very impressed by Adam Rose so far and his future is said to be in question at this point. It's being reported that the reason why the match between Rose and Damien Sandow was added to Money in the Bank was to try to give Rose a chance to prove himself on a pay-per-view but WWE officials were not impressed, which hurt his standing even more. A full exam recently revealed a lot of different shoulder and neck issues that Bryan has. Due to the uncertainty surrounding Bryan's condition, he is out of all WWE plans and there is no internal estimate on when he will be back. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking more and more like Bryan's career could be done. J529 Posted July 10, 2014 Share Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) Backstage news on Roman Reigns push With WWE currently booking Roman Reigns as one of the top guys in a big way, it's said that his ascension to the top likely would have been a slower one if Daniel Bryan was healthy and still WWE World Heavyweight Champion with John Cena as the other top guy. Coming out of The Shield vs. Evolution feud and the split with The Shield, the idea is that Reigns will work a feud with Orton and maybe a big pay-per-view match with Triple H before moving on. He's never coming to WWE at least to have a match. - There were rumors that Sting's "7-14-14" teaser on social media could be for an appearance on next week's RAW to promote WWE's new United We Slam Great American Bash DVD that comes out the next day but a RAW appearance next week for The Stinger is highly unlikely. We noted yesterday that Kurt Angle revealed on the latest Ross Report with Jim Ross that he has not signed a contract renewal with TNA because he's weighing his options. Angle said he thinks he'll be ready to wrestle in October but admitted that he's not able to compete like he used to and feels a lot of aches and pains, especially since he's not using pain medication now Regarding Sting, Angle said he heard Sting did not like the contract renewal that TNA offered him last year. Angle said Sting still does not want to give up his career. Angle added that he would love to see Sting have a run in WWE. Renee Young has been a topic of discussion quite a bit backstage in WWE recently. She is currently in a relationship with former United States Champion Dean Ambrose and lately she has also been the subject of ribs due to the fact that she prefers to walk around barefoot. However, this is not to say that WWE officials have not been impressed by Renee's work. She was recently promoted to a full-time commentator for WWE's Superstars program and there is a feeling that she is being groomed to become WWE's next major commentator for SmackDown and perhaps even Monday Night Raw eventually. There have been rumors that ESPN might be interested in picking her up once her deal with WWE expires, but she reportedly has little or no interest in leaving WWE for ESPN at this point.
