marleau_12
I would've gone Raymond for Forsberg lol

RonMexico
Something fishy here. I get the feeling that McPhee might know something about the young Forsberg that precipitated this move...

UFCanuck
Forsberg already coming to Nashville next week, they hope to have him in the line-up shortly after.
Canuck Surfer
In context; what your saying is Erat is Nashville's Burrows? Maybe better, with less help... A perenial 50-60 pt player on the Predators is not chopped liver folks. He's also a player with good underlying numbers (his -7 is misleading) - he's typically a guy who gets less than 50% ozone starts. Odd deal - Nashville is tied for 8th and give up their top scorer. Yeah, great prospect, but their fans have got to wonder what this says about their management's perception of their potential this season. Washington is only 3 points out, and buying. Mr. White
One of the worst trades I've seen in a while. Good job Poile! Forsberg is going to be an absolute beast
theminister
I think the same thing. This trade actually downgrades Forsberg's status. Nashville is terrible at developing forwards. When is the future ever going to arrive for this team? Not any time soon. We are in the age of instant results. I personally would never be a fan of a team that perpetually stuck in 2nd gear like the Preds are. They are an AHL team with two NHL level players (Rinne and Weber). Alex Burrows 14
I can not believe forsberg dropped to 11th, he could have been top 3 easy. Nashville definitely won this trade by a mile

oldnews
Nashville has no choice. Five straight losses. Fallen to 13th in the west. Traded their top scorer three years running for this youngster. Better show the fans why.
