How about Corey ,after being told he is the #1 goalie and signs up with Vancouver and then has to wait through a comic - fest filled year only to hear his name as trade bait on the tv come draft day a year later? How about Eddie after having just signed his contract to stay here? Think he is impressed? Gillis is the butt of jokes on TSN. At least somebody finds him funny. I haven't heard anyone mention moving both goalies, but if you really want to start a new chapter, maybe you really clean house. Great return on CS and cleared cap space for Lou. Could both be moved? Sure, I guess anything's possible. However, if Luongo was in demand I'm sure that he would have been traded by now. Also, a MA Fleury player is exactly the opposite of what we need. The only way to move him is to buy him out, and that is not happening - not if MG plans on keeping his job. Terrible contract when it was signed, and even worse now. Ya sure be p@ssed off over something that you don't have any control over. As far as Schneider and Luo...they are pros, not children. They know that this is a business and that the phone can ring at any time to say that either of them is traded. MG didn't have much choice, he had to move a goalie. He is going to have to move a dman too....probably Ballard or Edler in order to meet the cap. That's business and there wasn't time to play the little 'be nice' dance that you seem to expect.
