Sandro17
Well free agency is done and we didn't sharpen our PP, PK, 5 on 5, Defense, Offense or Goal tending. Our movements so far have been more about gambling that our youth make the line-up and that hopefully the Sedins are good PK players. The key word is gamble. There is no assurance any of our prospects are going to make it in this year. Yannick Weber is a right handed shot and might help the PP but the general consensus so far is that he's a depth player more than anything. If anything, have a new motivator in Tortorella which should re fresh our team locker room but we still have to see if this guy is going to mesh well with our players. Adding Horvat and Shinkaruk re-shelved our prospect pool, but again, there is no guarantee either of these guys are going to make it to the team this season especially right off their draft years. In conclusion, there was no re-tooling done. Only a re-shelf and a refresh
Shredder
Just love the sport, hope for the best. If not, be excited for a rebuild. We're all part of this

Shredder
Oh, and torts is an amazing coach, a father figure type Ex: yells at you motivates you, but tells you you're amazing and keep it up when you succeed, not AV, the guy that barely talked to his players Torts will destroy the media hype and all the pressure they put on the players
schlaBAM
How is free agency done? It's been one day. There are still quite a few big names out there. Plus, what did you expect? We have no spending room.
HockeyCanada90
Ya we should have done more. I mean common GMMG we have SO MUCH F@$$#&G CAP SPACE!!!#@$$@@@@!@$$$@###!!?# We did what we could. We're hoping rookies step up an fill holes. We d8dnt know the cap was going to go down. Now it did. This is the result.
Standing_Tall#37
It's okay...it all hinges on the Sedins and Lou. If Lou Refuses to play....Rebuild. If Sedins sh** the bed....Rebuild. If Sedins play okay and want to resign, it'll just delay the rebuild. But it's rediculous to "Re-tool" and trade no core players. Like it or not unless 2 or 3 of our youngsters become superstars in the next 1-3 years our moment in the Sun is over.
Halfway-There
It's one day... Would you really be happy if we overpaid 3-4 free agents right off the bat?

doobiedoodoo
If Gillis and Torts keep their words and actually let the kids play, that will be the best reset.
Super_Canuck
I actually didn't mind them not making any big signings. Most of the players on the market were average and they all got overpaid.

messier's_elbow
The sad thing is our team would be good if we had a few missing pieces, but the CBA and Gillis's ineptitude have screwed us. I think we should give it one more kick at the can. If we miss the playoffs I would start a full on rebuild.

Bananas
What would you change after bringing in a new coach? I would wait to see who doesn't fit in with the new coach before making more significant moves.
