Botchford and Gallagher love playing the 'straw man logic' game. Take something ambiguous a player/coach/GM said and then purposefully misrepresent the context/intention of what they meant to say in order to spin their own interests.

Gillis' "play or don't play" was a simplification of the options Luongo had. It was not some ultimatum.

Honestly, I find it hilarious. Back in 2011 when the team was almost perfect and the writers had very little to criticize, we didn't hear any of this hate. Now that the team has holes and there are some obvious issues with management...people just can't handle it.
