but anyways, the best chinese food i've had in vancouver either no longer exists, or is now called pelican seafood restaurant. It looks like it's in the same location, anyway, but i'd have to go back to see for sure. if it is that place, they busted down the old multi tenant building and built a standalone restaurant in it's place. either that or it completely shut down and it was where Volcano Sushi and Grill is now... which would be a crying shame.

Moderne Burger on Broadway in Kits has Vanilla Root Beer. Their burgers and fries are good but that Vanilla Root Beer is a near religious experience the first time.
