Puckster Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 Ok, I hope and pray the Nucks win, but....... - we are plying a few prospects new to the team - we are learning a new system - Lu (bless his heart) will let the usual one or two softies per game, until he gets 3 or 4 games under his belt - We have not beat the sharks in the last 9 count em nine games - Kassian out for 5 - Schroeder injured I am being a realist here ! but will a healthy Booth and Kesler along with a motivated squad overcome those issues??? stay tuned boys and girls...... we will find out soon Nucks 2 sharks 4 Dang!!!! Canada Hockey Place Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 Honestly, I'll be impressed if they can get a point out of this game. SJ is a super talented team. Solid core. Equal veteran talent to VAN. Way ahead in the prospect development. Thornton + Burns is just bad news to start with and now they've got Hertl on that line, playing his 1st real NHL game tonight. Also it may toughest building to play in after CHI in the West. On a 1 game road trip. Not the easiest season opener. Hoping for a good road effort. Fair officiating. Low shots/goals against.
